Personnel
The staff at
Brisbane City Enterprises are committed to delivering a professional
level of service to clients and commercial partners. BCE has a team of
highly motivated and experienced personnel from a broad range of
backgrounds. Together, the senior management team have significant local
and international project experience across a multitude of disciplines
including project management, engineering (water supply, sanitation,
public transportation), strategic and organisational development
planning, financial management and administration, economics,
governance, agriculture and rural development, and environment and water
resource management.

John Orange
Director
John Orange has over
twenty years experience in the public and private sector
organisations in Australia and overseas. Qualified in law and
accountancy from Victoria University in New Zealand, John has worked
in Corporate Treasury, Finance and Consulting Services in Australia,
the United Kingdom and New Zealand in organisations such as MIM
Holdings, Babcock International, Waitaki International, the New
Zealand Treasury and the Brisbane City Council.
In October 2003 John
joined the management team of Brisbane City Enterprises Pty Ltd as
Deputy CEO and Governance Specialist, taking on the role of CEO in
June 2004. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors
and currently holds three non-executive Directorships: SRWP Company
Pty Ltd; SEQWater Pty Ltd and City of Brisbane Airports Corporation.

Mohiuddin Mahmud
Manager
Mohiuddin Mahmud is a
Graduate Civil Engineer working with SMEC in Bangladesh since
November 1995. He did his Masters in Environmental Engineering from
Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden in 2000. For the last sixteen
years he has worked as a civil engineer and environmental engineer
on a number of projects in Bangladesh and other countries in the
region. He has been working as Country Manager, Bangladesh since
2000 and possesses strong Project Management experience.

Michael McMillan
Senior Business Development Manager
Michael McMillan joined
Brisbane City Enterprises in 2004 as Business Development Manager –
International. He bought with him a wealth of international business
development and trade facilitation experience to BCE, having lived
and worked in a variety of countries while in the private sector and
during his time as an officer with the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade).
Michael holds a Bachelor of International Business, majoring in
International Finance and Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern
Asian Studies. This, with his broad base of experience has ensured
his ability to successfully deliver a number of commonwealth
Government “sector specific’ industry development initiatives,
targeting Australia’s infrastructure and heavy engineering sectors. |

Momir Vranes
Water Sector Specialist
With a Masters Degree in science
(civil engineering) and a Postgraduate Degree in Hydraulics, Momir
is well qualified to assist developing countries with infrastructure
development and capacity building programs. Momir has held senior
roles in international water sector development aid projects
throughout Africa, Asia and Central Asia/Eastern Europe and
experience in water sector engineering in Australia and Yugoslavia
as well as water resource projects in Sudan, Zanzibar, Indonesia and
Central Asia and water infrastructure development in the
Philippines. Momir joined Brisbane City Enterprises in 2006 and has
bought with him relevant project experience, pricing including
costing estimates, preparation of operating and maintenance manuals
and capacity building for water resource projects.

Jonathan Powell
International Business Development
Coordinator
Jonathan Powell joined
the International Business Management Team of Brisbane City
enterprises in April, 2007. He has a Bachelor of Environmental
Management in Rural Systems. Jono has also been an Australian Youth
Ambassador for Development in Cambodia in 2001. His other countries
of work experience include Australia, India, Indonesia, Kiribati,
Philippines, Solomon Islands, Thailand and Vanuatu. This has been in
a mix of technical and project management roles. Most recently, Jono
has released his first book, titled “Through Pacific Eyes”. This
booklet was developed with the aim of educating Australians abut the
Pacific region in a straight forward, easy to read fashion. To

Suzanne McConaghy
Office Administrator
Suzanne has a strong
background in Office Administration, having run a Design and
Construction Office for many years. Her strengths lie in the areas
of client relationship and communication, reporting, record and
document keeping, function planning and management. Suzanne began
with Brisbane City Enterprises in late February, 2007. |

Parmy Atcheson
Management and Project Accountant
Parmy Atcheson came to
Brisbane City Enterprises in September, 2002. Parmy brings great
skill and experience to the company with Business Management support
and assistance in the areas of Project Financial Reporting and
Project Strategic planning. She assists with project bid preparation
as required with a specific focus on financial model development.
Parmy also provides business development assistance, relationships
and alliances with particular focus on the governance Sector. |

Qin
Hu
Accountant
Qin Hu has been with
Brisbane City Enterprises since November, 2006. Becky has a Master
of Commerce with the University of Queensland in Professional
Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts from China in International Trade
and is about is begin her CPA. Qin Hu is also proficient in
speaking Mandarin. Qin Hu is employed as a Graduate Accountant. |
