BBCE continues to move from strength to strength in
taking the products, services and technologies of BCC to the national
and international marketplace. The unique understanding of local
government issues and operations combined with the significant
experience of BCE’s senior management team in the commercial arena,
places BCE in a strong position to add value to city and urban
development projects.
Since its inception, BCE has been involved in over 150
projects in 25 countries throughout the Asia Pacific, South Asia,
Southern Africa and the Middle East regions. Many of these projects have
been in the government sector and have been associated with National
Government departments and agencies, Provincial and Local Governments
and publicly owned utilities. BCE has also completed multi-national
donor based program activity on behalf of AusAID, ADB, World Bank, UNDP
and KfW Bank.
BCE has developed and earned a reputation for providing
experienced practitioners with an understanding of, and empathy for, the
challenges and issues facing government. This ensures that client’s
goals and expectations are understood from a practitioner perspective
and that practical solutions are developed to meet the client’s specific
needs and objectives. Ongoing sustainability is a key focus of BCE’s
project involvement through knowledge, skills transfer and relationship
building that lasts well beyond the life of any project.
